How TLBM helped Stellaripe rank on the first page of Google



Founded in 2019, Stellaripe is an accounts outsourcing company that serves accountants in practice across the UK. Its core services include bookkeeping, year-end accounts preparation, VAT, taxation, and practice management.

Stellaripe's goal

To raise awareness of their brand and service, and boost their new website’s presence in relevant online search results to increase overall site traffic.

The challenge

The UK accounts outsourcing industry is well-established and home to many well-known brands and SMBs. As a new company in the market with a still-in-development website, Stellaripe’s biggest challenge was to quickly climb up the ladder and gain a competitive edge as soon as the site launched.

They needed their site content to be optimised with the right industry keywords to be found on search engines organically.

The TLBM approach

  1. We first shared a questionnaire with Stellaripe to understand the words/phrases used to describe their market positioning and the keywords they wanted to rank for. This was necessary to ensure we focused our copywriting and SEO efforts in the right direction and fetched optimal results.

  2. We then conducted thorough market research to identify the keywords Stellaripe’s competitors were using, and the current industry terminology. This helped us finalise the keywords with “high search volume and low competition” for the client.

  3. While our copywriting team wrote the web copy using the keywords shortlisted for each page, our SEO specialists focused on the on-page activities on the site, such as writing meta titles and descriptions, and sorting our anchor texts, image alt tags and URLs.

  4. Stellaripe launched its freshly-designed and SEO-optimised website in December 2019. Our SEO specialists started off-page SEO activities such as link-building, social bookmarking and forum community engagement to increase the site’s online visibility.

“Post-launch, we kept tweaking our SEO strategy and kept a close eye on how the site was performing. By March 2020, we could see our keywords climbing up the search rankings. Since we built Stellaripe’s website from scratch and did all the on-page SEO work even before it went live, it did not take us much time to make it rank for relevant keywords.

The results

Stellaripe’s search rank surpasses industry leaders. It started ranking on the first page of Google for the following keywords from March 2020:

  • Year end accounting outsourcing
  • Year end accounting outsourcing services
  • Tax return outsourcing services
  • Tax return outsourcing
  • Accountancy practice management outsourcing
  • Accounting practice management outsourcing

Its visibility on the search engine increases

The search impression, which is the number of times a brand shows up in the search for specific keywords, has been growing since the launch of the site in December 2019. In other words, the graph shows the growth of the visibility of the Stellaripe website on Google.

Search impression for the keywords mentioned above is on the rise since January 2020, and the number has crossed 266K!

Stellaripe's website traffic is on the rise

Between January 2020 and 2021, new users visiting the website have grown by 96.44%, while the organic traffic has increased by 384.91%. Total website traffic recorded to date has increased by 31%. The bounce rate is at par with the industry benchmark, so are sessions.
